Here it is all painted the handle is wrapped in some fake leather I got for free from an upholster. its 37 1/2 inches long, and it weighs 2 lbs. the bolt like things on the handle are sawn off 45. shells. i can't help thinking it needs something any suggestions?

Lovely sword. I like how the gear motif on the guard is echoed by the blade. Perhaps some more detailing to the blade would be nice, though? I'm thinking of a blood groove, about a third of the way from the back of the blade, tapering off in the upper fourth.
